That's what Bikram called our 5pm class. He said there were more people outside the tent than in it at the end!
The heat was high, and they finally had some humidity up to 45%. I personally didn't find it that bad. It felt a little hotter than the 11:30 class at downtown Edmonton. The difference here is that they have floor heating also, so your mat even gets hot! In the floor series savasana's Bikram kept yelling at people to put their legs down but it is hard to do when it is burning the backs of your legs! As we are only allowed one towel in the room only 1/2 our mats are covered so the legs are directly on the mats. At lecture, Bikram said he was getting the floor heat turned off until the heat/humidity is balanced.
Lecture was short. It consisted of us watching some of the shows Bikram has been on - 60 Minutes, Merv Griffin, etc. Early night - 11:30 Wha-hooooo!

Week Two is done by the time you read this, wuh-hoo. Week two is usually when the vomiting gets real good and yah more people outside then inside, lol. You are one of the lucky ones that gets to cry in week two, letting it out earlier than later.
ReplyDeleteFloor heating that burns your legs, yow-zers, not good, not something else you want to have to worry about, thats for sure.
SOunds like you need to take a soak in a hot tub or something fo royur back. If they have a salt water pool there, go for a swim in there, its amazing what it does for oyur muscles as well.
I am guessing dialogue clinic starts next week, so have good luck and have fun studying dialogue this weekend. You must be starting anatomy this week too, with Bikram leaving. No worries about that.
Keep up the awesome attitude.
So good to hear from you, Mel!! Yep, you are right! Anatomy and dialogue next week, and...Emmy!!
ReplyDeleteLove you and miss you!
